Dogs, cats, llamas, goats…you name it, I’ll probably try to pet it. I’m always down for a good concert or a last-minute road trip, especially if it ends somewhere with mountains (looking at you, Tetons and Rockies).
I'm raising two amazing girls with my high school sweetheart in Runnells, Iowa, along with two dogs and a three-legged cat who totally runs the place.
Behind the camera, my eyes are locked-in on the little things— the way your hand brushes through your kiddo’s curls, the dirt on their toes, the chipped polish on those tiny fingernails. You’ll probably catch me grinning like a fool during your session because, for that little slice of time, I get to be part of your family’s story. And honestly? That’s the dream. Every session includes a style guide to help you prepare. For an even more effortless experience, you’ll have access to my client closet, a collection of custom gowns, hand-selected for their ability to flatter all body types and photograph beautifully, so you can feel confident, comfortable, and completely yourself—without the stress of shopping or second-guessing what to wear.

In-home sessions are available for newborn, lifestyle, and motherhood sessions only. In-home sessions work best in spaces with an abundance of natural light. Please contact me for additional details.
Outdoors
I’ve thoughtfully selected a variety of stunning outdoor locations that photograph beautifully and create a relaxed setting, to ensure each session feels a little extra special. Once you’ve booked your session, we’ll review the options together and choose one that feels authentic to you and brings your vision to life.
Destination
I’m always up for an adventure and happily travel worldwide for sessions. I’ve enjoyed photographing my clients' stories in Mexico, Florida, Colorado, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, and I’d love to come along wherever your story is unfolding next. Studio
My studio is a large, sun-filled space with tall windows and warm wood floors in the heart of Des Moines' historic East Village. It’s a calm, welcoming space designed with a natural feel to keep the focus on you.
When you book with me, you’re not just getting photos — you’re getting the full VIP treatment.
First: Styling help. Because stressing over outfits? Nope. I’ll create a personalized style board for your crew, complete with clickable links to pieces that look amazing on-camera. Easy, breezy, done.
Second: My client closet — a curated collection of dreamy, custom-made dresses and epic gowns just for the mamas. No endless online scrolling, no “will this even work?” second-guessing — just show up and feel incredible.
Once we’ve locked in your session date and location, we’ll get you looking camera-ready.
